I'm not sure how to proceed with this proof. Could you point me towards the first step?
If you have two functions:
f(x) = g(x)
Then we the following is true:
f'(x) = g'(x)
In other words, you want the derivative of the left side function, so use chain rule to find the derivative of the right side of the function.
