I'm a bit unsure about the answer to this question...Aren't option A and option C the same? If a=0 then
doesn't e^(a+x) = e^(x) and e^a = 1?

Yes, it is true that you get option C from option A if you let a=0. However, the "fact" we are trying to express is for x at specific point, not for every point.

What Dustin is saying is that one of the two conditions in the list says more than the other, and that it says more than what is expressed in the last line on page 16. You are asked to identify the choice that says no more and no less.
